What is this event?

A week long, faith based, family centered, bay front homeschool family retreat providing creation/Biblical worldview nature study on the bay of St George Island. We'll enjoy learning time, organized activities and family free time along with the opportunity to find community with like minded families are all provided within the week!

What ages can attend?

Any homeschool family with kids 18 and below (school age and younger). Learning is geared towards preschool and elementary school age kids but kids of all ages will enjoy the morning worship & devotion, learning time and nature walks. 

Also the daily free time provides ample opportunity for new friendships to be formed! 

What is included in the cost?

6 nights in bay front/water view youth camp style cabins that include 4 bunk beds (8 twin beds) and 2 bathrooms. Beds can be pushed together to make a king.

It's amazing how Jesus and Homeschooling can bring families together to become instant friends! 

Can cabins be shared?

Yes! Each cabin can sleep 8.

If two families share a cabin there will be an additional cost for the 2 additional adults and any children beyond 4. 

How are meals handled?

Food is on your own unless otherwise noted. Families will share a kitchen and dining hall. Each family will have designated space in one of the refrigerators, space on a table for pantry items and will share kitchen appliances. Crockpots, a stove, oven, microwave, and toasters are provided. 

We suggest you prepare meals ahead of time and reheat for each meal. 
In the event you don't feel like cooking there are also local restaurants.

What to expect?

4 mornings of hands on, creation based, ocean learning. 

6 nights of evening activities including nightly fellowship around a fire, worship night, outdoor movie night, one potluck meal where main dish is provided and everyone brings a side to share.

Each afternoon is family free time. Stay on the grounds and play volleyball, explore the bay, go to the beach or explore the island. Many families spend the afternoons together with kids playing and parents visiting.
